Met Gala 2012- The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

The good- the very, very good.

Starting at the top left and moving clockwise we have Camilla Belle. This isn't Camilla's first visit to The Fitting Room. She was featured here but has clearly upped the ante looking absolutely glam at last night's Met Gala in Ralph Lauren.

Next up, Ginnifer Goodwin working that pixie in a Monique Lhuillier. I feel like a man with my pixie but this photo of Ginnifer makes me wonder if I gave up on it too easily? Hmmm....

My favorite girl crush Milla Jovovich in Prada. Honestly, I don't even think it's the dress that I like so much, I am just a firm believer that Jovovich does no wrong.

And finally, Rosie Huntington- Whiteley in Burberry. Generally not a Burberry fan, but she looks amazing. (then again, when doesn't she?)

The bad- the very, very bad.

Ohhh Coco Rocha, vintage Givenchy or not, worshipped dead actress's or not, this is effing terrible and you as a model should know better. And you know what? I like the pink hair trend, I really do, but I, unlike you apparently, realize I am not 14, so I manage to stay away from it.

Dakota Fanning in an ill fitting Easter frock by Louis Vuitton. Plus I think her mom did her hair.

Then we have Christina Ricci in Thakoon. She looks ridiculous but I think the photo speaks for itself.

And last but certainly not least, Tory Burch in Tory Burch. Beyond disappointing. It's a grown up version of a terrible tent dress I saw on the sale rack at Forever 21 once.

And I leave you with this frightening photo of Mary Kate Olsen wearing The Row. Is it just me, or has she aged 60 years in the last 2? What is wrong with her face? Someone put her in a horror film, please.

  1. Ginnifer is really underrated in the style department... She always looks fresh! And my biased heart belongs to Rosie.

I think I'd like Coco Rocha's outfit if it were worn at another event, minus the pink pony and with a change of shoes. I bet this outfit could work if styled more carefully on the right person.

Tory Burch should go away for a while (and take all of her logo flats with her) because that getup is just embarrassing.
